Changes To Syllabus:
I will be at a conference on Thursday, April 8th, so there will be NO CLASS. Shift all assignments down one day, i.e. what was scheduled for April 8th will be shifted to April 13th, what was scheduled for April 13th will now be the 15th, etc, until you get to April 27th, which you can scratch completely. Then we'll be back on schedule for April 29th.
Journal #18: I Hate
We're now getting into argumentative essays, so we want to explore where your strong feelings reside. For this prompt I want you to write about something you really hate. It can be something large or something minute. Explore why you hate it and maybe even possible solutions?

Meaning: in a straight line, by the shortest route (as a crow would fly) (example)
